The Upper Owens River is a popular fishing destination and a key area watershed. But without proper stewardship, the Upper Owens will suffer degradation. The goal is to protect wild trout populations in the Upper Owens River Basin. To accomplish this, we will:
- Spearhead education and outreach efforts aimed at reducing threats to the Upper Owens trout fisheries
- Facilitate the formation of the Eastern Sierra Fishing Guides Association
