Smith River Restoration and Protection

The Smith River is California’s last undammed major river system. We’re working closely with a number of local organizations to help protect the ecological integrity and extraordinary anadromous fish runs of this pristine river. We will do so by:

  • Restoring degraded habitat
  • Creating a steelhead and salmon refugia
  • Implementing and maintaining population monitoring
