Lee Vining Creek

The 47 square mile Lee Vining watershed begins in the Ansel Adams Wilderness at the 13,053-foot Mt. Dana. It is the second largest tributary flowing into Mono Lake.

From LADWP’s (Los Angeles Department of Water and Power) point of diversion to Rush Creek, Lee Vining Creek meanders approximately 8 miles before reaching Mono Lake. The creek hosts rainbow and brown trout.
