Lower Yuba River

The Lower Yuba River begins at Englebright Reservoir where the 3 tributaries of the Yuba converge. The river then travels for 8 miles before reaching the Daguerre Dam.

After leaving the dam, the Lower Yuba flows into the Lower Feather River in Yuba City. This entire river system is heavily dammed and brings power and water to the large cities in the valley.

The Lower Yuba River is well known to anglers for its populations of rainbow trout. There have also been runs of steelhead and Chinook salmon in the Lower Yuba.
