Central Valley Regional Spotlight

CalTrout's 50th Anniversary Central Valley Regional Spotlight

As we celebrate our organization's 50 year anniversary this year, we wanted to take time and highlight the amazing work being done at each of our regional offices. Let's check out what's been going on in the Central Valley...

The Central Valley regional office for CalTrout headlines projects that are focused on the restoration and management of floodplain habitats.

The goal is to leverage floodplain science and messaging to influence policy that expedites on-the-ground infrastructure improvements that will promote robust fisheries and self-sustaining populations of wild salmonids in the Central Valley and allow fish to access and benefit from functioning floodplains.

Our Central Valley team is headed by Dr. Jacob Katz, Senior Scientist for CalTrout. Read Jacob's bio.
