Conservation Staff

Will Ware earned his B.S. in Interdisciplinary Marine Science and M.S. in Coastal Science & Policy by exploring links between people and the environment with universities, agencies, and consulting. He now serves as Project Coordinator for CalTrout’s Bay Area region. His main roles at CalTrout are monitoring, outreach, and education- blending them together to support recovery efforts for endangered coho salmon and threatened steelhead trout along California’s Central Coast and the Bay Area through fieldwork, data visualization, and connecting with people. According to Will: “Outside of work, I am thinking about fish, people, or both so feel free to reach out so I can learn from you.”
