Project Description

Working with key partners, we are restoring the ecologic and hydrologic resiliency of priority meadows within the headwaters of West Walker River. This will increase and enhance habitat for Lahontan cutthroat trout populations. We are beginning work on the project design for Pickel meadow and will apply the WRAMP to two additional meadows in the west Walker Basin to determine restoration opportunities supporting Lahontan cutthroat trout recovery.
