DESCRIPTION:Join the Alameda County Clean Water Program & California Trout for a day of stewardship along Alameda Creek. \nWith the Clean Water Program\, East Bay Parks District and other partners we’re going to clean up trash\, pull invasive plants\, and discuss habitat restoration and barrier removal efforts benefitting fish and people along the creek! \nThis event is open to all ages. All children need to be under supervision of a guardian at all times. \nEvent Details: \nWhen/ Saturday\, July 27\, 2024\, 9am-12pm\nWhere/ Niles Canyon Staging Area; Old Canyon Rd.\, Fremont\, CA 945536 \n—————- \nThere is limited parking in the Niles Canyon Staging Area parking lot\, and abundant parking along Old Canyon Rd. adjacent to the staging area.  \nAll trash-picking and plant-pulling supplies will be provided\, but you are welcome to bring your own if you wish! \nPlease do bring: \n\nSun protection (hat\, sunglasses\, SPF)\nA filled reusable water bottle \nComfortable\, closed-toe shoes\nLong sleeves & pants\nSnacks (optional)\nHand sanitizer (optional) \n\nRestroom facilities are ADA-accessible portapotties.  \nRSVPs required – click the button at the top of the page to fill out the form! \nAll participants will be required to complete a liability waiver.
