Writers on the Fly is back with the West Coast Tour! Join us at Fly Fishing Specialties on April 25, 2024 for readings from Nathaniel Riverhorse Nakadate and Anne Landfield, as well as work from local writers and artists.
Proceeds from the event raffle will benefit fish conservation in California. Raffle prizes include gear from Sage Fly Fish, RIO Products, The Flyfish Journal and more.
Readers
Nathaniel Riverhorse Nakadate is an adventure journalist based in Houston, TX. His work has been published widely, including in The Flyfish Journal and Fretboard Journal, among others. Nakadate is a Patagonia Fly Fishing Ambassador, and he is always ready to put a smile on your face with a well-timed practical joke.
Anne Landfield is a poet, writer and fly fishing guide in the Seattle area. Prior to taking up fly fishing, she tried her hand at alpine ski racing, showing horses and earning a 3rd-degree black belt in kung fu. Her work has been published in The Flyfish Journal, Zyzzyva, and The Santa Barbara Review, among others.
