Celebrating World Rivers Day at Sunol Regional Wilderness

Join Alameda County Clean Water Program, California Trout, East Bay Regional Park District, and more for a hands-on, family-friendly celebration of World Rivers Day in the Sunol Valley Regional Wilderness. Explore the unique ecology of the Alameda Creek watershed, connect with community organizations, and learn about exciting restoration projects like the Sunol Valley Fish Passage Project that are helping salmon and steelhead return to these waters.
This event is open to all ages. All children must be under the supervision of a guardian at all times.
What to Expect
Interactive activities: Water testing demonstrations, trout games, and more.
Creek clean-up: All supplies provided (bring your own if you prefer).
Project updates: Learn about habitat restoration and barrier removal work on Alameda Creek.
Partner tables: Meet local conservation groups and see a watershed model.
