2026 Field Tour Series
California Trout's Project Field Tours offer a rare opportunity to step into the field and see conservation work in action. These on-the-ground experiences bring supporters alongside CalTrout staff, including biologists, scientists, and project managers, as well as key project partners, to explore the places where restoration is happening and why it matters. Each tour highlights a different project and landscape, from rivers and floodplains to barrier removals and habitat restoration sites.
Along the way, you'll hear directly from the people closest to the work about the science, strategy, and persistence behind each project, and what it takes to move from concept to measurable results. These tours are designed to deepen connection to the work, offer an honest look at progress and complexity, and show what's possible when long-term commitment and science-driven solutions come together on the ground. We hope you'll join us on one or more of our field tours in 2026.
