We weren’t sure what to expect going into our Trout Camp Live event. So many unknowns, so many potential pitfalls, so many risks along this new adventure.
Simply put, you all blew us away.
With the CalTrout community by our side for our first-ever virtual gala, we had over 1,500 watch the live stream event and raised over $825,000 for California’s conservation efforts, including over $360,000 to the Future Generations Fund-a-Need! These valuable funds go directly towards supporting our 60+ projects across the state that work to ensure resilient wild fish in healthy waters across California.
Through this monumental event, our projects and restoration goals for California are propelled forward. Your generosity fuels meaningful work that will build and leave a better California for generations to come. We are lucky to have members like you who share this conservation ethos.
The work we do today on behalf of native fish and healthy rivers will have an impact for decades, even centuries. We can continue to research impactful projects and find innovative, science-based solutions to the state’s resource issues. Removing barriers from Southern California to the Oregon border – Klamath, Scott, Matilija, Santa Margarita, Rindge. Reshaping how resources are managed in California with work in the Central Valley. And championing meaningful legislation for our native fish and rivers.
We are sincerely grateful to everyone that joined us in the new virtual adventure and are overwhelmed by the generosity of our CalTrout community. Thank you for your generous support and for creating a better California for future generations.
