Project Description

In 2013, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power and the Mammoth Community Water District reached settlement agreements in two lawsuits over water allocation in Mammoth Creek ensuring adequate flows to support fisheries while also providing sufficient water supplies for area residents, businesses, and urban users in the LA area. We were instrumental in those agreements and are now working to see full implementation of the Settlement terms: a) the Fisheries Enhancement Fund is active and functioning, (b) instream flow requirements are met, and (c) fully appropriated status for Mammoth Creek determined.
