With over 50 years of success behind us and more than 60 large scale conservation projects currently underway, we know we can accomplish great things. CalTrout's Legal & Policy Team is a crucial part of the organization. We partner with legislators and like-minded organizations to collaborate on fresh water solutions across the state. Last year, we opened a brick-and-mortar office just steps from the Capitol to further advance our mission and expand our partnerships with agencies and legislators. In Sacramento, we are growing our organization’s voice and meeting with influential decision makers including California Natural Resources Agency Secretary Wade Crowfoot and California Department of Fish and Wildlife Secretary Chuck Bonham. These connections and conversations are critical as we work to bolster our on-the-ground work through support and funding.
