Reflections of Gratitude

A word from CalTrout’s ED, Curtis Knight

Reflecting back on this past year, I’m proud and inspired by CalTrout’s resilience despite the obvious challenges the year served up. You provided the resilient foundation for our sustained growth, and for that we are grateful.
 
Just in the past year, we deployed more capital to conservation projects than any comparable time in our history to ensure our native wild fish flourish in pristine California waters. And we couldn’t have done it without you!
 
With your continued support, we will continue to build resilience in our native fish populations and our rivers and stream because of what that means for all of California.  Resilient waters mean clean drinking water, water supply security for agriculture and commerce, and of course healthy rivers and improved quality of life for all Californians.
 
Take pride in reading through our Annual Report and see how your support and the collaboration of our many partners made possible. In the face of adversity, we remain focused on our mission, resilient in our efforts, and steadfast in our vision for a California with clean, cold waters flowing freely from source waters to the sea.
