Luther Wilmot was born and raised in Minnesota. He got his BS from Bemidji State University (go beavers!) located in northern Minnesota. He previously spent two summer guiding youth canoe trips, then one summer doing salmonid snorkel surveys in Idaho. He had worked for CalTrout as a contractor on dewatering projects in the Eastern Sierra, and is excited to now be working full-time. He loves being able to see the direct impact of our projects. Whether it's working on defunct dam removal and installing BDA's to dewatering and restoring LCT habitat, he enjoys that the work CalTrout does has direct, tangible benefits to struggling species.
