Kara joined the CalTrout team in October 2021. She is a dedicated environmental communicator and storyteller excited to be using her skills to benefit the California waterways that she loves.

She holds an M.A. in Environmental Communication and a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Stanford University.

When she’s not in the office, you can find her going for runs, attending yoga classes, hiking, and exploring!
