Serena joined CalTrout’s Shasta Cascade region in 2022. She has worked in aquatic habitat and fisheries restoration for ten years, beginning her career in Maine working with Atlantic salmon and native brook trout. She moved to Northern California in 2017 and has spent the past five years working on fish passage issues in the mid-Klamath Basin. She spends her free time involved in anything related to food or being outside.
