A River Reborn: One Year After Klamath River Dam Removal
In fall 2024, CalTrout and our partners installed a SONAR fish counting station at the entrance to newly reopened habitat on the Klamath River. Our data is in and tells us that more than 7,700 Chinook salmon swam upriver of the former Iron Gate Dam site.
