Across the Eastern Sierra, Lahontan cutthroat trout have lost 95% of their historic California habitat. CalTrout and partners are removing non-native trout, restoring stream conditions, and protecting genetically distinct populations across Rough, By-Day, Silver, and Slinkard creeks to revitalize these ecosystems and wildlife.
