CalTrout sadly notes the March 23 passing of Upper Sacramento Fly Fishing Legend Joe Kimsey.
Kimsey was a link to the Upper Sacramento River’s history (he fished the Upper Sac and McCloud Rivers when salmon and steelhead still plied their waters).
He was also a character whose sparkling wit seemingly never failed him, making him favorite among all who fished the Upper Sacramento.
