On Saturday, October 26, 2019, CalTrout’s Sierra Headwaters Regional Director, Eric Huber, attended and tabled at the 8th annual Lone Pine Tribal Fall Harvest Festival. The free event was open to the public and attended by many. Besides local non-profit outreach, events included pumpkin carving, a Halloween costume contest, and many games including burlap sack races, balloon pop, pumpkin toss, Plinko, and a dunk tank. Lunch and drinks were generously provided by the Lone Pine Paiute-Shoshone tribe. Many thanks to Mel Joseph, Environmental Director at Lone Pine Paiute-Shoshone Reservation, for the invitation to this fun and educational event.
