Salmonid Restoration Federation and Trees Foundation, in cooperation with the CA Department of Fish and Game, will host the 14th Annual Coho Confab at Rock Creek Ranch on the South Fork of the Smith River in Del Norte County.
This year’s Coho Confab offers several tours to diverse restoration projects on Smith River tributaries. Workshops offered include a fish passage toolbox, underwater fish identification, macro-invertebrate sampling, the impact of pesticides on salmonids, and stories and songs of salmon.
The Coho Confab is a great opportunity for community members, landowners, scientists, students and restoration professionals to participate in a weekend of innovative skills-building workshops, hands-on tours of restoration projects, and networking.
