South Coast

Nate is a Project Manager in CalTrout’s South Coast region, where his work focuses on improving habitat for Southern California steelhead.  Nate has a B.S. degree in Geology from Dickinson College and a Master’s degree in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation from Scripps Institution of Oceanography.  While completing his Master’s degree, Nate had the opportunity to partner with the Yurok Tribe to study thiamine deficiency in the anadromous fish species of the Klamath River Basin.  In his spare time, Nate enjoys fishing, snorkeling, and exploring new areas.
