CalTrout is hosting a Pit River flows discussion on Thursday, July 14 at 7:30 PM at the old Clearwater House in Cassel.
We’ve run a similar series of produtive discussions with the angling community in Mt. Shasta — most recently on the McCloud River flows.
This event will focus on the Pit River flows, but we’ll touch on McCloud flows too. The purpose of this meeting is to:
- Provide clarity on the Pit River’s new flows in the Pit River
- Explain CalTrout’s advocacy role and position in developing the new flows
- Explain how the angling community can be involved in assessing the new flows
CalTrout will be represented by Executive Director Jeff Thompson, Conservation Director Curtis Knight, Mt Shasta Area Conservation Manager
