Watch Pescadero and Butano Creek Fish Tracking in Action

Did you know that we are tracking migrations of federally endangered coho salmon and threatened steelhead along the Central Coast? Learn more from CalTrout staff and our partners about this exciting work to tag fish and follow their movements in Pescadero and Butano creeks. CalTrout’s collaborative work with San Mateo RCD, San Mateo County Parks, California State Parks, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Trout Unlimited, and NOAA Fisheries informs efforts to recover fish populations by bringing together researchers, restoration practitioners, resource managers, and community members.
