North Coast

Katy was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Resources Engineering from Cal Poly Humboldt in 2011 and a Master of Fine Art in Creative Writing from UC Riverside in 2019. Before joining CalTrout in 2022, Katy worked as a consultant on fisheries restoration projects, flood studies, a nuclear decommissioning project, and a climate action plan. Katy currently manages projects in the estuaries of Elk and Mad Rivers.
