From the California Water Blog comes three very spooky 1950s-era water plans for California — including one which proposed to bypass canals and pipes by shooting water over whole counties with a water cannon.
Another plan proposed turning nearly every Northern California river into a lake.
Scary stuff indeed; we’re happy none of them were implemented.
