Join Southern Sierra Fly Fishers for its seventh Annual Women’s Fly Fishing Clinic! 

This event – renamed Celine’s Fly Gals Weekend – is a place for women club members to meet other women who fly fish or are interested in learning. You’ll have the chance to learn how to fly fish, meet fellow fishing enthusiasts, get expert tips on gear, spend time on the water, practice yoga, win prizes, and more. As a special highlight, our Sierra Headwaters team members, Marrina Nation and Lindsay Britton, will be leading  a workshop on meadow restoration, conservation, and fisheries recovery.

Classes are open to all women – membership is not required.

• The class is geared towards women who are interested in learning about fly fishing, specifically those who are just beginning or have never fly fished.
• We have an amazing line up of instructors from all over California to teach the class.
• Yoga, casting, conservation, fly tying, entomology, knots and Toys, Tools, & Doodads.
• Free Giveaways and Raffles.

Sunday:

• This is an excellent opportunity to apply your newly learned classroom knowledge with actual time on the water.
• A valid California fishing license is required.
• Please bring your own fly-fishing gear, if you have some.
• Water shoes or wading shoes recommended.
