2016 NFWF Meadows Restoration Workshop at the Mayacamas Ranch in Calistoga, CA
Continuing our collective work to restore Sierra meadows, we look forward to seeing you at the 2016 NFWF Meadows Restoration Workshop at the Mayacamas Ranch in Calistoga, CA. The workshop will take place starting the evening of February 9th and ending the afternoon of Friday, February 12th. This year’s workshop will center on two main themes relating to Sierra meadow restoration and management. They are (1) Sierra meadow restoration, greenhouse gas sequestration and establishing carbon credits (Day 1, Feb 10th) and, (2) developing a Sierra Meadows Conservation Strategy (Days 2 and 3, Feb 11th-12th). An agenda is forthcoming.
We would like to remind you all that lodging space will be limited and primarily based on double occupancy. Although we will be able to host 65 conference participants, we will only be able to provide lodging for 42 guests and at this time lodging is only available to workshop participants. Lodging accommodations will be made on a first come first serve basis. Thank you.
